Axora Chief Commercial Officer Dr Nick Mayhew spoke as part of "Adapt or Fall Behind: The Need for Digital Transformation,” a panel on the need for technology adoption in oil and gas. Other speakers included Kongsberg Digital Senior Vice President Shane McArdle, Ascent Energy Ventures Managing Partner David Forsberg, and YPF Chief Technology Officer Sergio Fernandez. Together, the panel discussed how machine learning can drive energy efficiency, the role of technology in attracting new talent, and so much more.

The talk took place from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on 30 November in London. Other programming for the day included a keynote presentation detailing a digitalisation case study from Kongsberg Digital and Shell.
The primary meeting place for energy executives, investors and financiers, WECA 2021 run from 29 to 30 November and featured 800 C-level attendees and 375 companies. Speakers included representatives from BP, Equinor, Blackrock and more.
