EXPOMIN

The Electric Mine
When? 23 - 25 May
Where? Arizona, North America
Format: In person
The Electric Mine continues to be the world’s only global mine electrification event and is back in North America for three full days in Arizona.
More and more major mining companies have set interim and long-term emission targets, which will require hybrid solutions in the short-term – such as alternative fuels – as the surface and underground equipment fleets move away from diesel.

26th World Mining Congress

This year, the World Mining Congress (WMC) 2023 organisers have announced the release of the technical and business program, which includes 13 plenary speakers and over 300 technical discussions, run through 13 core streams that deliver workshops and industry sessions.
For the first time, the Congress will be held in Australia and is the perfect opportunity for operators and companies seeking investment or offering services to the global mining sector.
Speakers last year were from the WA Government and leading organisations including Oz Minerals, Mineral research Institute WA, Amira Global, and more.

International Conference on Mining, Mineral and Metal Processing (ICMMMP)

Africa Down Under (ADU)

African Down Under (ADU) is back again, providing live presentations, face-to-face meetings and lots of opportunities to network. Initially launched to raise awareness of Australia’s interests in African mining and energy, ADU is now the leading forum for Australian-African business and government relations.
The three-day event is now the largest African-focused mining event held outside the continent itself and is attended by many high-profile participants year on year.

Future of Mining Perth

Future of Mining Americas

The Future of Mining Americas is back and based on its previous success, expects to bring together over 250 senior decision makers from the mining sector. It aims to support the industry in handling increased pressure to be more efficient, deliver more minerals to help with the energy transition, and for everything to be done in a safer and more sustainable way.
There will be a strong focus on how operations plan to get to zero emission and their zero entry roadmaps – all to enable them to meet their pledged sustainability targets.
The two-day summit will feature an interactive and thought-provoking agenda, curated by Mining Magazine’s editorial team. Three key content themes at the event will be: The Digital Mine, Leaders in Mining and ESG 360.

Mining Latin America

Chile-based event Mining Latin America provides networking for global mining leaders, regulatory authorities, Government, technology and equipment suppliers, and investors.
The opportunity in Peru alone is high, with 13 mining projects expected to begin construction between 2021 and 2025, for a total investment of US$ 11,753 million - among which are Quellaveco, Magistral, Río Seco, Zafranal, Los Chancas, Trapiche and Michiquillay. Peru also aims to be able to produce three million fine metric tons (tmf) of copper per year.
Previous speakers include the General Director of Environmental Economics and Financing at Ministry of Environment of Peru, President of Association of Mining Engineers of Ecuador, and President and CEO of AMEE Candente Copper Corp.

FT Mining Summit

Facilitated by the Financial Times, this year’s Mining Summit continues to attract leading companies and stakeholders to debate the biggest issues facing the mining industry.
The focus is on ‘Minerals of the future’ and the two-day summit promises to cover the following (and more):

Featuring more than 470 exhibitors from innovative mining startups to global leaders, The International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) - Australia’s largest mining event - is back and continues to connect mining leaders with technology, finance and the future of the industry.
It aims to inspire, educate, facilitate idea creation and bring people together to network, from across the mining value chain.
